College of Cooperation: The college of Co-operation, Banking and Management was established in 1981 as a constituent College of the Kerala Agricultural University. The College was set up in accordance with Section 5 of the KAU Act, which provides for the establishment of a Faculty of Co-operation. The avowed objective of the
College is to undertake teaching, research and extension programmes
in areas relevant and beneficial to Co-operative Organizations, Banks,
Commodity Boards and similar organizations B.Sc.[Co-operation and Banking]: The B.Sc. (C & B) Programme is a four-year professional degree course offered by the College of Co-operation, Banking and Management, Kerala Agricultural University from the year 1981.The stated objective of the programme is to supply trained professionals with right knowledge, skills and attitude to man the managerial positions in the Co-operative Sector, Banks, Commodity Boards and similar organizations. It is not yet another degree or diploma in Co-operation as offered by traditional Universities or Co-operative Institutes in the country. The programme is designed with many unique features to match the demands of the potential employers in a dynamic environment. Four Departments: 1. Department of Development Economics 2. Department of Co-operative Management 3. Department of Rural Marketing Management 4. Department of Rural Banking & Finance
Management U G Syllabus B.Sc ( Co-operation & Banking): The College of Co-operation,
Banking and Management, a constituent college of the Kerala Agricultural
University, is offering a four year professional degree programme
in Co-operation and Banking (B.Sc C&B). The admission to this
course is done through an entrance test conducted by the Commissioner
of Entrance Examinations, Kerala.
